Fresh at Freshome
April 1, 2008

Searching the internet as much as I do, I come across a lot of interesting sites. For example, here's Freshome that I found today.  Several posts caught my eye:

The Most Outrageous Pieces of Furniture
Rodolfo Rocchetti from Tappezzeria Rocchetti is a master upholsterer from Rome, and he made some really creative pieces of furniture.

Full Moon Sideboard
The Full Moon Sideboard was created using a very special luminous and ecological paint called ELI
( comes from a special ecological powder which is modified into a gelcoat-PVC and covers the furniture. ). The furniture creates special effects in the dark and makes you feel like you are basking in unadulterated moonlight on a full-moon night in the country.
Bedroom Is Easier With a Rotating Bed

Broadway director Jack O’Brien hired a set-designer friend who came up with a rotating bed in the middle of the room. Just press a button and the bed turns to face the fireplace. Press the button again and the bed faces the windows.
This way O’Brien can sleep facing the fireplace or the window.

Add a Secret Passage in Your Home

Walk into any old house and my mind starts imagining secret passages.  The closest I ever came to having my own secret passage was converting two side by side closets into a wall-length recessed bookcase.  Now Creative Home Engineering can convert most any house into anything you’ve seen in Hollywood pictures.

Do you know some sites that I should look at?  Email me with your suggestions to landfair3554@comcast.net

Hello Mike, I appreciate seeing decor that's out of the box. I'm afraid that my company, Asian Art Imports deals in more conventional decor but, take a look at www.asianartimports.com. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks, Wally Stryk
