June 18, 2009

Aspen, Colo. -- MacKenzie-Childs opened a 1,500-sq.-ft. dedicated store at Amen Wardy Home on May 29 (photo, right), showcasing more than 500 products including hand-crafted ceramics and enamel tableware, furniture and home accessories. “Aspen is an influential and significant market for luxury brands,” said Lee Feldman, CEO of MacKenzie-Childs. “Amen Wardy is known internationally as one of the finest home stores. We could not have a better place to present MacKenzie-Childs in Aspen, and we’re quite pleased with the confidence this demonstrates in our brand.”

Also in May, MacKenzie-Childs opened its first international location at Harrods in London in 500 square feet of shopping space on the department store’s second level. "Harrods is thrilled to be offering the MacKenzie-Childs range within our Contemporary Dining department. We are proud to be the exclusive UK stockist for this iconic brand," said David Miller, Harrods’ director of Home, Furniture, Sound & Vision and Toys.

MacKenzie-Childs operates retail stores in New York City, Palm Beach, and Aurora, N.Y. The line can also be purchased at select U.S. retailers including Neiman Marcus, on the company’s Web site, MacKenzie-Childs.com and through the MacKenzie-Childs catalog. Located in the Finger Lakes region of upstate New York on a 65-acre former dairy farm overlooking Cayuga Lake, MacKenzie-Childs engages more than 100 artisans and production staff at the company’s studio.
