Z Gallerie offers wine-filled decanters
December 19, 2007

Los Angeles-based home furnishings retailer Z Gallerie gives customers the option to purchase its exclusive Skull Wine Bottle decanters one of two ways: empty ($32.95), or filled with Miramonte Winery’s 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon ($65). The empty version of the decorative decanter, which is etched by Celebration Cellars, is available online and in Z Gallerie’s stores. The wine-filled bottle is only available online through Z Gallerie’s Web site or Celebration Cellars’ Web site, where the imported Italian wine bottle is described as filled with a wonderfully elegant and well-structured expression of Cabernet Sauvignon featuring deep, concentrated blueberry, blackberry and bing cherry flavors, with nuance of lavender, fresh mocha and toasted oak… aged two full years in premium French Oak, and adorned with "an artful canvas label illustrated with a chic silver skull.”

Celebration Cellars designed the artwork exclusively for Z Gallerie. In addition to etching wine for a client list that includes thousands of individuals, companies, celebrities and athletes, Celebration Cellars also owns the Temecula, California-based Miramonte Winery. Z Gallerie began as a small poster shop founded in Sherman Oaks, Calif. in 1979 by brothers and sister Joe Zeiden, Carole Malfatti and Mike Zeiden. Today the company remains privately owned with 71 retail locations in 24 states.
