Talking to IKEA, part 1

Lampan was literally the first product I saw when I walked in to the new Ikea in Charlotte yesterday. There was a wall of red, black and white. $4.99. I purchased 5. And it’s not that I didn’t see a million other things I wanted – I needed. But that first impression stuck, and my coworkers are the happy recipients of Ikea marketing smarts.

Pics of my trip are here. More to come.

Any idea why Dead and Buried doesn't aapepr to be available in Canada? I preordered from Amazon.ca and they tell me it is unavailable and will be sent to me when it is in stock. The other big online bookstore in Canada doesn't even list it.Strange the publisher is based in the UK, so I would have guessed that release would have been simultaneous in Canada, NZ, Aus, etc. Could you try getting an independent to order it for you, or just ordering from amazon.com?

Nico,It's prcitcae! Every time I pick up a camera, I snap at least one picture of myself grinning in exactly that way. So, you need a camera and remarkable self-absorption and you, too, can be like ME!
