Brooke Shields featured in campaign for Royal Velvet at Bed, Bath & Beyond
Brooke Shields and her family will star in the print and online marketing campaign for Iconix Brand Group’s Royal Velvet home brand, to debut next month (June, 2008) in shelter, lifestyle and bridal magazines. The campaign will coincide with the launch of Royal Velvet at Bed, Bath & Beyond. The campaign, themed "Royal Moments" will feature ads with Shields, her husband Chris Henchy and daughters Rowan and Grier. The campaign was shot at a private estate in Beverly Hills by celebrity photographer Tony Duran.
The new collection offers 24 colors of towels, all of which are available at Bed, Bath & Beyond. Dari Marder, Iconix Brand’s chief marketing officer, said, “Brooke is an iconic modern woman. She is a wonderful and loving mother, wife and a successful actress and author and she manages to make it all look so easy. We feel that the Royal Velvet customers will relate to Brooke and her family along with the intimate images in the campaign.”
This is the first endorsement deal for the family. “At this point in my career, I only do projects that I believe in. Royal Velvet made sense for me and my family because it felt authentic and it is a classic brand with amazing products,” Shields said.

After reading this article where this dude John Rinaldi speaks of a closeness to Brooke Shield and her family, I find it very disturbing. Where does this loser get off making such comments? A stalker who studies the woman's life, and thinks he can get a claim to fame? Weirdo! I wonder how many times Brooke has had him arrested.
