Cobblestone & Vine celebrates 16 years; Tribbles adds design, event planning
Little Rock, Ark. – Cobblestone & Vine home furnishings and gift boutique will mark its 16th anniversary this week with a four-day celebration and Web site re-launch. The store (photo, right), which began operations on April Fools Day, 1993, as a creative outlet for local resident Susan Henry, quickly became a thriving business and source for unique and customer furniture, art, mirrors, European-inspired linens, candles, gifts, glassware and French bath products. In May, 2008, Cobblestone & Vine and its sister shop, C&V Loft, were purchased by Henry’s friends and business partners Kim and John Gillum, Ann and Ken Hiegel, and Dinah and Casey Sullivan. Henry remains actively involved as lead buyer and on-site design consultant. A Bon Anniversaire celebration will be held at the store’s main location in the Heights, Wed., April 1 through Sat., April 4.
New York, N.Y. — Cara Stone Pfeifer, owner of Tribbles Home & Garden in TriBeCa, is transforming her successful retail shop into a design studio and event staging venue for personal and business clients. According to Pfeifer, the evolution takes advantage of being located in an "amazing space" that can be transformed to make any special occasion a memorable experience. "I have partnered with a leading New York City event planner to ensure we have the hottest ideas from around the globe to create a unique experience that reflects your personal taste and style," Pfeifer said. "We will handle everything from the smallest details to the main course." A BizBash-New York review of Pfeifer’s most recent project, an employee recognition dinner where attendees dined at a single Tribbles-designed organically shaped table, may be read here.
