Creating Beauty in a Recycled World
February 27, 2009

“Recycled and sustainable materials are used wherever possible because there is nothing more beautiful than decay.”
That is the philosophy at the heart of the furniture Scott White creates. It’s very appealing to me how these sculpted cherry Klismo chairs are at the same time primitive and sophisticated. Scott writes, “With an external world that can seem amiss, I find solace in returning to a space that is comfortable, tidy and calm.” I’ll add ‘beautiful’ to that equation, as well. You can contact White Design and see his portfolio is available here.
