Greenspiration Home Interactive Learning for Designers During the High Point Market

If you’re interested in the latest methods of ‘green’ building and decorating you will want to attend this event for the interior design community. In collaboration with the Sustainable Furnishings Council, premium brand manufacturers Stanley Furniture, Kohler, Karastan and Sunbrella will host a private, all-day event at the Greenspiration Home, Greensboro’s first LEED-registered home.
On Wednesday, April 29, from 10am-7pm, you can participate in CEU’s sponsored by Kohler and the SFC:
- Universal Design - 10:30-11:30am
- Designing Green Interiors - 12:00pm-1:00pm
- Bathroom Furniture - 2:00-3:00pm
- Designing Green Interiors - 3:30pm-4:30pm
- Water Conservation - 5:00-6:00pm
There will be prizes, refreshments, as well as information about ‘green’ best-practices.
You can attend the event on your own schedule: A shuttle marked “Greenspiration” will be available in the Transportation Terminal (directly outside IHFC on Commerce Ave.) to transport designers as early as 9:30am and as late as 6:30pm. The shuttle will run hourly.
The event is free of charge and open to anyone in the field of interior design. No registration is required, but if you are interested in participating in any of the CEUs, please contact kmackenzie@burris . For additional info about the Greenspiration Home Interior Designer Event, please contact Kristen MacKenzie or visit GreenspirationHome.com.
I’ve already toured the Greenspiration Home and I promise it’s beautiful and full of great ideas, whether you’re building a LEED home or you just want to amp up the efficiency of an existing home. It’s free! Go.
