Tracy Glover Reinterprets Art Glass in Rug Collection

December 18, 2008

Glass artist Tracy Glover renders intricate patterns found in her glass work larger than life with a modern collection of rugs.  Glover crafts luminously hued lamps, vases and accessories using Venetian craftsmanship; the same feeling of light and artistry infuses the Himalayan wool and silk rugs. Hand-knotted in Tibet, the initial four abstract designs can be ordered in custom colors and sizes. All designs are Rugmark certified, meaning that no child labor was used during the rug’s manufacture. A portion of the purchase price is used to educate children in India, Nepal and Pakistan.
