Wes Kennedy
Wes has been the Home Accents Today art director since 2001. He was born and raised in the Furniture and Hosiery Capital of the World and as a child was never without socks. He is a grad of NC State where he studied architecture and switched to graphic design when he discovered he was much more two-dimensional than he'd hoped. He suffered the so-very-interesting world of advertising in Durham and Virginia Beach for 5 years, soon discovering that publishing offered a lot more creative freedom and a lot less money. Wes is obsessed with the built environment and aspires to be a minimalist in the manner of John Pawson, if only he could part with all the really cool design pieces he has collected. He is in the process of buying his childhood home so he can finally rearrange all the furniture without his parents moving it back.
