Shadow Mountain signs deal with Woolrich
Shadow Mountain has signed a licensing agreement with Woolrich to produce case goods and upholstery.
Approximately 35 pieces of bedroom, dining and occasional case good items will debut in the Shadow Mountain showroom at Historic Market Square 309. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 3-6 p.m., Shadow Mountain will host a drop-in cocktail and hors d’oeuvres party for buyers in honor of the launch.
An upholstery collection is slated to debut this winter in Las Vegas.
Artisan House unveils 35 new color-infused metal sculptures
Artisan House is introducing a total of 35 items this week: 28 wall sculptures, five tabletop pieces and two freestanding sculptures. Artisan House President John Shilling said the pieces, created by seven different metal artists, include more color and "lend an impressive breadth to our offerings.”
Retail prices for sculptures in the company’s High Point collection will remain in the $225 to $700 range. "Despite overseas inflationary pressures, we've kept our line affordable for consumers in today's marketplace," Shilling said. "We understand that our customers and the buying public are more price conscious than they were a year ago."
The company’s showroom is in IHFC D208.
Jaipur doubles Showplace location
Jaipur Rugs, a hand-woven rug provider out of India, has expanded its showroom to 2,304-sq.-ft. — nearly double its previous size.
Jaipur will be serving hors d’oeuvres and cocktails daily after 2 p.m. in Showplace, 3415.
“With the expansion of our Showplace showroom, we are looking forward to offering a wide selection of styles to our High Point clients,” said Asha Chaundhary, chief operating officer. “This expansion comes at a key time for Jaipur as we are introducing seven new collections this fall.”
In additional to the new collections, Jaipur is also unveiling more than 50 new designs in its existing collections.
Habersham Feathers chosen for Biltmore upholstery
Habersham’s licensed upholstery line, Habersham Feathers, has been named official upholstery licensee for Biltmore For Your Home — under the premium Biltmore Chateau Reserve brand.
The pieces are debuting in the Biltmore Habersham Home showroom-within-a-showroom at Market Square 142.
“Fine upholstered furniture is going to be a key component in our portfolio of licensed Biltmore products and Habersham Feathers is the perfect partner for us in this category,” said Tim Rosebrock, vice president and general manager of licensing for Biltmore.
“The line’s luxurious fabrics, trims and versatile design styles promise to appeal to the style confident, affluent Biltmore Chateau Reserve customer who is searching for unique furnishings that allow her to express her own sense of style,” he said.
The new collection includes sofa, chaise and chair designs in rich fabrics, trims and correlates inspired by the European architectural and design influences found throughout the 250-room French Renaissance-style chateau located on more than 8,000 acres in Asheville, N.C.
“Together with our licensed furniture designs, the new upholstery reflects the art, architecture, hospitality and ambience of Biltmore,” said Matt Eddy, Habersham president.
