The International Home Furnishings Center in High Point is adapting the building's third floor for temporary exhibitors of decorative accessories and home accents.
Pavilions on 3 will include room for up to 40 new exhibitors in spaces that will range from 300 to 1,500 square feet. The renovated floor is scheduled to open for the Spring High Point Market in April 2008.
Plans were announced during the High Point Market in October.
IHFC also plans to relocate furniture showrooms on the bridge to the Green-Wrenn wings to create more space for the home accents category on the third floor. Together, Pavilions on 3 and the new showroom space will offer about 40,000 additional square feet for accessories and home accents.
Pavilions on 3 will also feature a restaurant, bistro-cappuccino bar and two elevator banks.
The Pavilions on 3 will feature a winding walkway and offer a variety of booth configurations
