Tonon new president of Promosedia

Matteo Tonon, vice president of Italian chair and table manufacturer Tonon & C. S.p.a., has been named president of Promosedia, the annual chair show in Udine, Italy.

Tonon, 28, takes over management of Promosedia from Pierpaolo Constantini.

Tonon & C. has been in the chair business since 1926, when Matteo Tonon's paternal great-grandfather founded the company. Matteo's father, Sandro Tonon, is president. In addition to his business experience, the younger Tonon has been active in industry and business groups.

“My first task as president of Promosedia will be to develop a common strategy with all players across the territory,” he said. “My appointment reflects a desire to protect our manufacturing sector, creating new opportunities for growth.”
