Rugs America to launch Jane Seymour collection in Atlanta

-- Home Accents Today, 1/1/2008

Rugs America will introduce the new Jane Seymour Home Collection of area rugs at the upcoming Atlanta International Area Rug Market Jan. 17-20.

The premiere of the Jane Seymour Collection will be a yearlong introduction of traditional, contemporary and transitional motifs designed to complement and merchandise with existing Jane Seymour Home products or as a stand-alone purchase.

“The Jane Seymour Home Collection is an established brand with a proven track record of success in several home categories,” said Aaron Hakimian, vice president of Rugs America, a direct importer and distributor of area rugs based in Farmingdale, N.Y.

“Our company has eyed the Jane Seymour brand since its initial launch with department and furniture stores alike, and looks forward to representing the brand in the area rug category,” he said.

Two collections will debut this month. The first is the Coral Canyon Collection, with a casual, Pacific coast feel. Hand-knotted in double-washed 100% premium wool, the collection consists of nine designs, available in seven sizes, representing 63 SKUs. The cost of a 5x8 rug is $899.

The Grand Hotel Collection, inspired by the Mackinac Island resort in Northern Michigan, has nine designs reflecting a simple, yet sophisticated look. Hand-tufted in 100% premium high count wool yarns, the collection consists of six sizes representing 54 SKUs. The cost of a 5x8 rug is $499.
