Domestically produced goods are enjoying a rebirth in the last several years. Interest in the Made in the USA products is driven by the desire to protect and create American jobs, as well as by the growing green consciousness that questions the need for and the long-term viability of shipping goods across continents. Here's a look at some of the home furnishings products that are domestically produced. — Jenny Heinzen York

Kincaid The American Heartland linen chest from Kincaid is part of a traditional solid oak bedroom collection available in Oatmeal, Slate and Harvest finishes.
PTM Images Resting Peacocks from PTM Images showcase the elegant bird perched in a tree ($70 each).
Avrett The Belmont four-light pendant, shown in an Aged Tea finish, is available in custom finishes from Avrett.
shady lady lighting The Curve Appeal table lamp from Shady Lady Lighting incorporates simple curves on an iron base, paired with a modern drum shade. The lamp is customizable with 17 powdercoat finishes and a variety of different patterned fabric shades.
TLS by design A slipper chair in a chenille tufted transitional Unraveled fabric is from TLS by Design ($850). All TLS upholstery is made in Indiana, using U.S.-made components.
Dixie Rheinhart This collection of pillows is from Dixie Rheinhart, including a pale teal neckroll with velvet ties, a celery and cream stripe with sage trim, and the teal and cream checkerboard pillow.
