The Latin connection

Furniture/Today’s exclusive report, LatinAmerican Sources, identifies some of the major North American importers bringing in product from Latin America. The list is not comprehensive. It is meant to serve as a resource to readers in helping identify key Latin American importers. To qualify for the listing, companies must import finished goods from Latin America and have a U.S. marketing arm. In addition, imported goods from Latin America must represent either 10% of total product or equal $5 million or more in wholesale shipments.Companies that produce domestically do not qualify. All shipment information is for calendar year 2004 and was either provided by the company and/or approved by the company.  Furniture/Today compiled this report by surveying the importers themselves.
