Sea Gull Lighting Products (www.SeaGullLighting.com) has unveiled a new streamlined Web site that exemplifies the style and functionality of its product line consisting of more than 3,500 decorative and functional lighting products.
A two-time Energy Star Partner of the Year Award winner, Sea Gull Lighting’s new site has been specifically updated to provide homeowners, builders and design professionals with product descriptions and specifications as well as local dealer and showroom contact information. Broad-based educational content has also been inserted to highlight topics ranging from energy-efficient lighting benefits and the dramatic effects of rail and linear systems to the answers to frequently asked questions and tips that provide insights into numerous lighting issues.
The content of frequently-visited pages related to the company’s educational program efforts, marketing and communications initiatives, and company background and history have also been updated to provide visitors with the latest news and happenings from one of the industry’s leading and most innovative lighting manufacturers.
After merging to form Generation Brands (www.generation-brands.com), Sea Gull Lighting, Murray Feiss Imports and Encompass Lighting Group now market nearly 10,000 functional, decorative and residential lighting products under a range of brand names including Sea Gull Lighting Products, Murray Feiss Imports, Ambiance Lighting Systems, Light Process Company and Monte Carlo Fan Company, Tech Lighting, Tiella and 2Thousand Degrees. Most recently, the companies announced an agreement with Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia Inc. to manufacture a new line of Martha Stewart-branded lighting and ceiling fans.
Weiman updates Web site for consumers and retailers
Weiman Furniture of Christiansburg, Va., has just released its totally rejuvenated Web site for access by consumers and retailers. Weiman’s newest upholstery, home accent furniture and accessories are all pictured on the revamped site, including market introductions.
For buyers that missed the recent High Point Market, a section entitled “Showroom” visually recreates the sights and even the sounds of the new Weiman showroom on the 10th Floor of the Design Wing of IHFC. Added features include sectional schematics and sizes that retail salespeople and consumers alike can reprint directly from their own computers.
“Weiman feels so strongly about its engineered internal construction and benchcrafted tailoring that an entire section of the new Web site has been devoted to our quality construction, step-by-step,” said Jim Becker, vice president of sales. “We’re confident that this state-of-the-art Internet tool will be beneficial to customers shopping for the finest contemporary furniture, as well as a valuable sales aid for retail sellers within the store.”
Abbott relaunches site with enhanced product pages
After more than one year of offering online ordering to its customers, Abbott has redesigned its Web site.
Abbott has invested considerable time and resources over the past few months developing and testing its new chic new look, allowing the industry leader to confidently create a Web site that is both stunning and functional.
The new abbottcollection.com also premiers changes such as enhanced product pages which display more information than ever. Other noteworthy improvements include new sections which include details about Abbott’s special events, gift shows and media.
Abbott will also be launching improved functionality within the next few months. These include customer access to invoice and statement history, account database management, and the ability to manage multiple shopping carts and users.
